Description

Origin: remote, spread in Anatolia and then throughout the Mediterranean.
Budbreak: medium-late.
Bloom: medium.
Ripening: medium-late.
Cluster: medium-large, conic-cylindrical, branched, compact.
Berry: small (2 g), oval-ellipsoidal shape, uniform yellow-green colour, thin but strong skin; flesh not juicy, crisp, of neutral flavour.
Overall: seedless variety traditionally used for drying. Berry quality may be improved with proper field techniques for table use, in this case it is known as “Thompson Seedless”.
